Mazour: Morocco Strongly Positions Itself in the Global Aerospace Industry Thanks to a Strategic Royal Vision
The Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mazour, affirmed that Morocco today holds a prestigious place on the global aerospace map, as part of its participation in the Moroccan delegation at the International Paris Air Show, which kicked off on Monday in the suburbs of the French capital.
Mazour explained that the Kingdom is increasingly attracting the attention of major international players in the sector, particularly in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. He noted that this momentum reflects the vast potential that Morocco has accumulated, thanks to the strategic vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which has positioned the country as one of the most attractive destinations in the field of industry and aerospace.
The minister, alongside members of the Moroccan delegation, held a series of professional meetings with prominent international investors in an effort to enhance the Kingdom’s appeal and promote the capabilities of the national aerospace sector, which has seen exponential growth in recent years. He highlighted that daily engagements exceed fifteen meetings, bringing together current and potential investors, as well as Moroccan startups active in this field.
The Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, in partnership with the Moroccan Aerospace Industries Group, is organizing a Moroccan pavilion featuring six national companies showcasing their accumulated expertise in aerospace manufacturing. Morocco participates in this international event with an official delegation that includes government officials and industry professionals, including Minister of Transport and Logistics Abdel Samad Guhi and Delegate Minister Karim Zidan, as well as Ali Sadiki, the Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development.
The Paris Air Show, recognized as a global showcase for technological innovations in the aerospace sector, features around 2,500 exhibitors from various countries, with more than 130,000 professional visitors, alongside 322 official delegations, underscoring the significance of this international industrial event.
