European Clubs Compete for Moroccan Hamza Igahman
European clubs continue their efforts to sign Moroccan international Hamza Igahman, a player for Scottish club Rangers, who has recently delivered impressive performances with his team, drawing the attention of several major clubs across the continent.
According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, both Lazio and Olympique Marseille are closely monitoring the Moroccan player in preparation for an attempt to sign him during the upcoming summer transfer window. The source revealed that Rangers has set Igahman’s market value at around £20 million, while remaining open to negotiation on the potential transfer amount.
Galetti noted that Marseille has been following the player since the last winter transfer window, having made direct contacts with those surrounding him to gather information. It appears that this summer may present the right opportunity for a formal move.
On the other hand, Lazio has yet to submit any official offer, but is actively collecting new information about the player as part of its efforts to strengthen its attacking line ahead of the new season.
It’s worth mentioning that Igahman, who previously shone while playing for Royal Army Club before moving to Europe, has caught the interest of several other clubs, including Everton and West Ham United from the Premier League, reflecting the increasing value of the player in the European transfer market.
