Mohamed Amin Benhachem, the coach of Wydad Athletic Club, announced that his team has reached an agreement with four players who will be signed on loan for a month to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States.
The contracts will be signed with four players from Brazil, Bolivia, a Moroccan playing in France, and a Congolese player.
In a press statement, Mohamed Amin Benhachem explained the rationale behind this move, stating: “The deal comes as part of our search for new elements that can add value to the team, giving ourselves a one-month period to assess their readiness and compatibility in the Club World Cup. If they prove their worth, the clause allows us to sign them permanently.”
He added: “The signing with the new players will take place today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday.”
