Bilal El Khannous on the Verge of Leaving Leicester City, Arsenal in the Picture

Reports have revealed that Moroccan international Bilal El Khannous has reached a final agreement with his English club Leicester City, paving the way for his departure during the current summer transfer window.

According to "Africa Foot," the 20-year-old El Khannous believes that leaving Leicester City has become a pressing necessity to maintain his place in the Moroccan national team and to enhance his chances of participating in next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.

In a noteworthy development, the same sources indicated that Arsenal is interested in signing the young Moroccan star, with extensive negotiations taking place between both parties. The player’s agent has already reached a preliminary agreement with the "Gunners." However, finalizing the deal still depends on Leicester City’s acceptance of Arsenal’s financial demands.

During the recently concluded season, El Khannous participated in 37 matches across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing six assists, showcasing his potential as a young player capable of shining in the English Premier League.

It is worth noting that El Khannous is considered one of the most promising young talents in Moroccan football, making him an attractive target for European clubs looking to bolster their squads with emerging talents.
