Three Arrested in Casablanca Due to Fight Linked to Sports Hooliganism

Casablanca police from the Bernoussi district apprehended three individuals, aged between 22 and 23, late on the evening of June 8, on suspicion of involvement in street violence and property damage related to sports hooliganism.

Police patrols caught the suspects in the act of exchanging blows and injuries in a residential area, along with other accomplices, resulting in damage to four parked cars on the street.

Investigations revealed that the suspects committed these criminal acts due to prior disputes linked to motives associated with sports hooliganism, stemming from their affiliation with a fan group supporting a football team.

The suspects have been subjected to an inquiry ordered by the relevant public prosecutor’s office to uncover all circumstances and factors surrounding the commission of these criminal acts, as well as to apprehend the remaining individuals involved in the case.
