The Jordanian national team triumphed over their Omani counterparts with a score of three goals to none in the match held on Thursday, part of the ninth round of the third stage of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Ali Alwan scored all three goals for the "Nashama," at the 51st minute, in the 45+7th minute from a penalty, and at the 64th minute.
With this victory, the Jordanian team is close to securing a place in the World Cup, as a draw between South Korea and Iraq would grant the "Nashama" a ticket to the global tournament.
Jordan currently leads Group B with 16 points, followed by South Korea with the same number, Iraq in third place with 12 points, and Oman in fourth with 10 points.
