Raja Club Athletic has confirmed the postponement of its general assembly if it coincides with the first day of Muharram.
In a move aimed at ensuring transparency and institutional discipline, the board of Raja Club Athletic announced the details for the current season’s ordinary and extraordinary general assembly, scheduled to take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 4 PM in a hotel in the economic capital, Casablanca.
The official announcement from the club covered all possible scenarios, indicating that the meeting might be rescheduled if June 27 coincides with the first day of Muharram 1447 AH (the Islamic New Year), which is considered a public holiday in Morocco. In this case, the assembly will be postponed to Monday, June 30, 2025, in respect of the public holiday and to facilitate attendance.
However, the club has excluded one scenario from the postponement: if the first day of Muharram falls on a Saturday, the original date will remain unchanged, as Saturday is not a public holiday in Morocco.
