After losing the Champions League to Achraf Hakimi, Inzaghi joins the Saudi League

Saudi club Al Hilal has officially announced the signing of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi as the new manager of the team.

Media reports have confirmed that Inzaghi will receive an annual salary of €26 million and has signed a two-year contract.

It is worth noting that Al Hilal announced Inzaghi’s appointment just one day after his departure from Inter Milan, following a “heavy” defeat in the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain (5-0).

The 49-year-old coach will begin his mission with Al Hilal at the FIFA Club World Cup, where the Saudi team is placed in Group H alongside Spanish side Real Madrid, Mexican team Pachuca, and Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.
