Younes El Kaabi is nearing a move to RS Berkane to strengthen the attack ahead of the Champions League.

Younes El Kaabi, the brother of Moroccan international Ayoub El Kaabi, is close to signing with RS Berkane during the upcoming summer transfer window. This move aims to enhance the team’s roster in preparation for upcoming challenges, notably the CAF Champions League.

According to multiple media sources, the 27-year-old player has reached a preliminary agreement with Berkane’s management, with the official contract expected to be signed in the coming days.

Conversely, Younes El Kaabi’s name had been associated with Raja Casablanca, where initial negotiations took place. However, his destination changed at the last moment to RS Berkane, which is looking to strengthen its squad with effective attacking players in anticipation of the next season.

Younes El Kaabi has made a strong name for himself in the National Amateur Championship, showcasing impressive performances with his team, Racing Casablanca, where he finished the season as the top scorer with 16 goals. This achievement has drawn interest from several national clubs.

This potential deal reflects RS Berkane’s serious ambitions to make a strong entrance into the summer transfer market, aiming to build a competitive team capable of challenging Africa’s top clubs in the Champions League.
