The Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers: Moroccan security keeps pace with development and enhances community trust

The Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Mohamed Ben Ali Koman, confirmed that Moroccan security agencies have made significant progress in full harmony with the rapid pace of development taking place in the Kingdom, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.

This statement was made during the opening of the sixth edition of the National Security Open Doors Days, which took place last night at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center in El Jadida and will continue until May 21.

Koman explained that this security progress reflects the particular attention that King Mohammed VI gives to citizen security, alongside the efforts of those in charge of the sector to provide a safe environment that meets development requirements.

He emphasized the importance of open doors as an initiative that strengthens the trust bridges between the police and the community, allowing citizens to closely observe the daily tasks and sacrifices made by security personnel to protect the nation.

The Arab official considered that the Moroccan experience has become a model to be emulated in the region, especially concerning the development of community policing, the consolidation of human rights respect, and the improvement of security services.

This edition is organized under the slogan “Proud to Serve an Ancient Nation and a Glorious Throne,” and serves as an opportunity to showcase the latest techniques and practices used in security work, within a strategy aimed at being closer to the citizen and modernizing the police public service.
