Marrakech’s club returns to the first division

Marrakech’s team has secured promotion to the professional “Inwi” league after a 1-1 draw against Mouloudia Oujda in the 29th round of the second division.
With this achievement, Marrakech has fulfilled the promotion dream of its fans, which has been a goal since 2019. The club had faced difficulties, dropping to amateur status at the end of the 2021-2022 season before quickly returning to the second division.
Marrakech’s team was the first to score through Al-Omari, but Mouloudia Oujda managed to equalize in the 63rd minute through Imad Serbout.
Marrakech currently leads the standings with 52 points, two points ahead of Ittihad Yaakoub Al-Mansour, while Mouloudia Oujda stands in 13th place with 32 points.
