The United States and Saudi Arabia signed a massive arms deal on Tuesday, which the White House described as “the largest in history.” This agreement was part of a series of contracts signed by President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh.
The White House stated in a press release, “The United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed the largest defense sales agreement in history, valued at nearly $142 billion,” aimed at providing the Gulf kingdom with “advanced combat equipment.”
