The Jordanian Public Security Directorate announced in a statement on Monday that rescue teams discovered the bodies of a Belgian woman and her son after they went missing due to floods in the south of the country.
According to the statement, which was received by AFP, “search and rescue teams… found the bodies of a mother and her son who are of Belgian nationality after they were missing due to the floods in the Shobak district,” located about 205 kilometers south of Amman.
