The Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts Trading with an Increase

Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Trading With Gains

The Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced trading on Friday with an increase, as its main index, “MAZ”, saw an advance of 0.04%, settling at 17,603.48 points.

The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, increased by 0.07% to reach 1,435.66 points. Meanwhile, the “MASI.ESG” index, which tracks companies with top ratings, experienced a decline of 0.13%, settling at 1,206.6 points.

On the other hand, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the exchange, rose by 0.29% to land at 1,729.25 points.

Previously, the “MAZ” index closed Thursday’s trading session with a loss of 0.09%.
