Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, arrived in Quito to represent King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of Ecuador’s President, Daniel Noboa.

The Moroccan delegation included Farida Loudaya, Morocco’s Ambassador to Colombia and Ecuador, while the Ecuadorian side was represented by Foreign Minister Gabriela Somerville.
In a statement to the press after the reception, Bourita conveyed the King’s greetings and congratulations to President Daniel Noboa.
Bourita emphasized that Ecuador is entering a new phase under President Noboa’s leadership, stressing that “the Kingdom of Morocco is here to express His Majesty the King’s clear intention to support the President’s efforts to enhance bilateral relations, especially in the economic, commercial, and security fields.”
