Foreign Investment Thrives in Morocco
The Bureau of Exchange reported that net inflows of foreign direct investment reached approximately 9.16 billion dirhams during the first quarter of 2025, marking an increase of 63.6% compared to the same period last year.
In its newsletter regarding the monthly indicators for external transactions of March 2025, the bureau indicated that revenues from these investments rose by 24.6%, exceeding 12.9 billion dirhams, while expenditures declined by 20.8% to 3.81 billion dirhams.
Regarding net outflows of Moroccan direct investment abroad, the same source noted a decrease of 59.5%, settling at 388 million dirhams. It highlighted that revenues (from these investments) fell by 14.8% to 3.87 billion dirhams, and expenditures decreased by 22.6% to 4.26 billion dirhams.
