During the 30th session of the National Council, the collective leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party emphasized the strength of the governing coalition and the continued commitment of its members to the shared program, asserting that any differences in viewpoints do not undermine political commitment but rather represent a healthy sign of collaborative democratic work.
The party reiterated that its unwavering priority remains the individual, grounded in the principles upon which it was founded, which transcend narrow political calculations. The statement emphasized that engaging in the majority stems from a conviction in the necessity of implementing public policies that place the citizen at the heart of public decision-making. This was illustrated by the housing support project, which shifted for the first time to provide direct assistance to families instead of developers.
The collective leadership urged party members to fully engage in strengthening communication with citizens and enhancing trust in institutions. It reminded them that a true activist is not only someone who holds an organizational or elected position but anyone who embodies and represents the party’s values within their community.
On another note, the party affirmed that the primary national issue, the Moroccan Sahara, remains a top priority. It linked the liberation march of fifty years ago with the current march towards development under the leadership of King Mohammed VI. The recent developmental leap in the southern provinces and the recent diplomatic dynamics reflect the spirit of the Green March and bolster Morocco’s regional and international standing.
In the international context, the party renewed its full support for the rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that the Palestinian cause ranks alongside national issues, free from any political maneuvering, and reaffirming commitment to a two-state solution with an independent Palestinian state and Jerusalem as its capital.
The party called for expanding the roles of party diplomacy and engaging in international organizations to defend national issues. It also highlighted the importance of the “Generation 2030” program for listening to youth, and the “Youth Passport” initiative as a practical tool to support them in education, housing, transportation, and culture.
The statement confirmed that the government is working on launching major community projects, primarily social protection, spatial justice, energy transition, and addressing challenges in the digital economy and artificial intelligence. The collective leadership praised the effective role of the party’s parliamentarians and ministers, commending the work of affiliated organizations, especially the women’s organization, and the ongoing organizational efforts in various regions.
The statement concluded that the upcoming phase requires stronger engagement from all activists, with a collective spirit, to keep pace with the deep transformations Morocco is experiencing and to capitalize on the political, economic, and social gains accumulated over recent decades.
