A Explosion of a Car Tire Claims the Lives of Four Women and Injures 11 in Sidi Kerdan
Agadir – A statement issued by the Attorney General at the Appeals Court in Agadir confirmed that a fatal traffic accident occurred this Monday afternoon, May 26, 2025, in Sidi Kerdan, resulting in the deaths of four women and injuring 11 others, five of whom sustained serious injuries.
The statement explained that the incident was caused by the explosion of one of the tires of a pickup truck carrying 14 women working in the agricultural sector, leading the driver to lose control of the vehicle which collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.
The accident also resulted in minor injuries to six other individuals, including the drivers of both vehicles, all of whom were transferred to the hospital for necessary medical treatment.
Additionally, the statement indicated that the public prosecutor has initiated a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances and details surrounding the accident, and to take the appropriate legal measures based on its findings.
