A Moroccan drone destroyed an armed vehicle belonging to the Polisario Front, loaded with Grad missiles, near Mahbes today, Thursday.
Informed sources reported that the targeted vehicle was preparing to carry out a terrorist operation against Moroccan sites in the area when it was accurately detected and located by the Royal Armed Forces, which responded immediately with a precise airstrike.
The same sources added that the operation resulted in the complete destruction of the military vehicle and the death of all separatist elements onboard, confirming that this intervention falls within the rules of engagement adopted by the Royal Armed Forces to safeguard national security and counter any potential threats in the buffer zone.
This operation comes amid increasing attempts at infiltration and harassment by the terrorist elements of the Polisario along the security wall, in defiance of international legitimacy.
