The number of Morocco Telecom’s customers reached approximately 80 million in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 3.6 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

In a statement, the group highlighted that this growth is primarily attributed to the performance of the Moov Africa subsidiaries, which experienced a 6.5 percent increase.

In Morocco, the mobile subscriber base totaled 18 million and 799 thousand customers, reflecting a decrease of 2.7 percent over the year. Meanwhile, the fixed-line subscriber base reached 1 million and 634 thousand lines, down by 6.5 percent.

Internationally, the mobile subscriber base amounted to 57 million and 306 thousand customers, distributed across Burkina Faso (12 million and 122 thousand), Côte d’Ivoire (12 million and 117 thousand), Mali (8 million and 302 thousand), Chad (7 million and 260 thousand), Benin (5 million and 787 thousand), Niger (4 million), Mauritania (2 million and 502 thousand), Togo (3 million and 331 thousand), Gabon (1 million and 626 thousand), and the Central African Republic (257 thousand).

The fixed-line segment had 405 thousand subscribers, distributed among Mali (258 thousand), Burkina Faso (69 thousand), Gabon (69 thousand), and Mauritania (9 thousand). The number of high-speed fixed-line customers reached 281 thousand.
