Serious Allegations: Mehdaoui and Mouloua at the Heart of a Corruption Network Funded by a Prominent Politician

In a new development that reignites the debate around the reality of media in Morocco, Youssef Al-Hirsh has sparked controversy with a provocative post that includes direct and explicit accusations against Hamid Mehdaoui, regarding practices he describes as media manipulation and public extortion, in addition to exploiting media platforms for begging and achieving personal interests.

Al-Hirsh accused Mehdaoui of undermining honest journalism and waging a war against it, pointing out that the latter enjoys significant political support that funds him to implement dubious agendas. This funding is not innocent; it is part of a broader scheme to manipulate public opinion and steer discussions according to specific interests.

The most alarming aspect of Al-Hirsh’s post is the connection he made between Hamid Mehdaoui and Hassan Mouloua, as he claimed to have received direct threats from Mouloua just a month before he was subject to an assassination attempt. This information led Al-Hirsh to accuse the two of being part of a unified corruption network that coordinates its actions precisely and serves the same interests.

What Al-Hirsh published raises deep questions about the nature of the hidden relationships that may link Mehdaoui and Mouloua with networks of influence, money, and politics, while also opening a heated discussion about media independence amid the overlap between private interests and journalistic work.

This necessitates action from judicial authorities to investigate these serious allegations, which corroborate what has previously been reported by several national newspapers concerning Mehdaoui and Mouloua.
