Dakhla Hosts the Second Political Conference of the Coalition for Autonomy in the Sahara on April 29 and 30
The second political conference of the Coalition for Autonomy in the Sahara will take place in Dakhla on April 29 and 30, under the theme “New Realities of Moroccan Sahara, Towards Reevaluating the UN Approach in a Changing Geopolitical Context.”
This high-level conference aims to develop thinking around this regional conflict from various angles, considering the recent developments surrounding the issue at the United Nations, the shifting geopolitical context, and the field realities, as well as in light of the Atlantic royal initiative launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the Glorious Green March.
The conference will feature former ambassadors, academics, journalists, and lawyers from Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
On this occasion, multiple discussion sessions will be organized, along with field visits to major projects as part of the new developmental model for the southern regions, particularly the Atlantic port of Dakhla.
The Coalition for Autonomy in the Sahara is an independent organization that unites over 3,000 politicians, parliamentarians, diplomats, academics, journalists, lawyers, and representatives of civil society from all continents. They are united by the advocacy for Morocco’s autonomy initiative as the sole and final solution to this regional conflict.
