Concentrix Opens Its Second Lab in Morocco

Concentrix, a global leader in technology solutions and customer experience, officially inaugurated its second “Tech Lab” dedicated to innovation in artificial intelligence on Tuesday in Marrakech.

The new innovation lab, launched during the third edition of the “GITEX Africa Morocco” exhibition, is located at the company’s site in the Sidi Ghanem industrial area. It aligns with the group’s commitment to establishing Morocco as a technological hub in Africa.

As an open and advanced collaboration space, the Marrakech Tech Lab welcomes collaborators, startups, students, researchers, and partners to experiment, develop jointly, and model the solutions of tomorrow.

This new center specializes in advanced technologies, featuring focal points dedicated to “artificial intelligence applied to customer experience,” “smart automation of professional processes,” “enhanced experience design,” and “predictive analytics for better data utilization.”

On this occasion, Redouane Mabchour, General Director of Concentrix in Morocco and the Maghreb region, stated that, “The opening of the second Tech Lab in Marrakech is not a goal in itself but a motivating factor. We aim to make Morocco an advanced base for digital transformation in Africa by building bridges between technology, talent, and businesses.”

He noted that the group aspires to play a pivotal role in empowering Moroccan and African talents to adopt a culture of technology while supporting local and regional businesses in their digital transformation. He emphasized that this new lab will make its resources, technological infrastructures, and international expertise available to collaborators to enhance their employability in the long term.

Mabchour clarified that “this research center is also open to Moroccan startups that partner with Concentrix, particularly those facing technological or financial challenges.”

In a statement to the Moroccan Arab News Agency, Rania Cherkaoui Salehi, Director of Strategy and Transformation at Concentrix in the Maghreb, highlighted that the Tech Lab will be a space for training and acquiring knowledge about new technologies, accessible to collaborators and partner university students. She mentioned that this innovation space will allow collaborators and students to benefit from an incubator and accelerator network for startups once their projects mature.

During the opening ceremony, attendees were able to explore the technological facilities of the Tech Lab in Marrakech through a guided tour. Additionally, Moroccan startup entrepreneurs presented their projects and the challenges they face.

Concentrix, which has been operating in Morocco for over 22 years, employs thousands of collaborators across 12 locations. The company continues to reaffirm its commitment to digital transformation and enhancing employability in Morocco.

It’s worth noting that the 2025 edition of “GITEX Africa Morocco,” held under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, is distinguished by a variety of sectoral seminars, innovative initiatives in the creative industry, and communication forums that provide high added value.

This event marks a new step in reinforcing the kingdom’s position as a key platform for digital innovation in Africa. The exhibition annually brings together key players in technology to discuss digital issues, artificial intelligence, and innovation in Africa.
