A communication meeting for referees and delegates precedes the launch of the national boxing championship for the 2024/2025 sports season.
The headquarters of the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation in Rabat hosted an important meeting with the delegates and referees last Tuesday, April 22.
This meeting was attended by the members of the federation’s executive office, led by the Vice President Haj Ahmed Bouhafsa, Nabil Halimi, and Secretary General Abdelilah Wadhghiri.
The agenda focused on discussing several key points, including the latest updates on officiating and preparations for the start of the national championship for the 2024/2025 sports season across various age categories.
During this meeting, a number of obstacles and discrepancies from previous events were addressed, along with ways to overcome them by promoting integrity within the boxing sports system to elevate its status.
The federation asserted its readiness to organize various regional and national championships under the best conditions by putting in place all necessary organizational and logistical arrangements to ensure the success of these important sporting events.
Additionally, emphasis was placed on the importance of maintaining discipline, sports culture, respect, high ethics, and fair competition to achieve good results for both male and female champions. This reflects the serious efforts made by all components of national boxing, from sports clubs and regional leagues to the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation.
It is worth noting that the current sports season has implemented a new system for registering boxers wishing to participate in various national championships through a dedicated online platform. This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to simplify procedures, enhance transparency, ensure equal opportunities, and ensure effective organization.
