Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Its Trading Session with a Decline

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened its trading session on Tuesday with a decline, as its main index, “MASI,” dropped by 0.27% to settle at 17,395.37 points.

The “MASI.20” index, reflecting the performance of 20 listed companies, saw a decrease of 0.22% to 1,417.59 points. Additionally, the MASI.ESG index, which tracks top-rated companies, recorded a loss of 0.25%, closing at 1,198.38 points.

Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap,” which measures the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the exchange, fell by 0.36% to 1,726.63 points.

Yesterday, the MASI index ended trading with a gain of 0.71%.
