Tangier Med Group’s Revenue Reaches 11.23 Billion Dirhams for 2024

Tangier Med Group, active in ports, logistics, industry, and services, concluded 2024 with a consolidated turnover of 11.23 billion dirhams, marking a growth of 12.3% compared to 2023.

According to a statement from the group: “In terms of port and logistics operations, the group manages the Tangier Med port complex, the first port in the Mediterranean and Africa, which ranks 17th globally in the latest Alphaliner ranking of container ports. The port achieved a record in 2024, handling 10.24 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU), reinforcing its position as a key hub for national imports and exports.”

The group benefits from the contributions of “Marsa Morocco,” which operates 25 specialized berths for handling containers and bulk materials. Marsa Morocco also achieved record performance in 2024, with a processed volume of 63.3 million tons, an increase of 11% over the previous year.

The total volume handled by the group, including activities from Tangier Med Port Authority (TMPA) and Marsa Morocco, reached 187 million tons of goods and 11.44 million TEU.

On the industrial level, the group is developing and preparing over 3,000 hectares of industrial and economic zones, hosting more than 1,400 companies operating in the automotive, aerospace, textile, food, and logistics sectors.

These activities collectively generated a total turnover of 174 billion dirhams in 2024, while contributing to the creation of over 130,000 job opportunities.
